So sad

I just wanted to write a quick post to cry a little. My ex boyfriend from college got married a few months ago. I just found out his wife is pregnant... with TWINS! Seriously, are you kidding me!!! It just made me so sad. She has twin boys from a previous relationship, so he is technically already a dad, but I just wanted to be pregnant before they were. I know it's silly. It just made me want to cry when I saw a friend of mine on FB comment on her photo. Stupid FB! I knew you ladies would be the only ones who would "get it". Man IF sucks.

  1. I hate finding out things like that, for some reason it always stings. Sorry, :(

  2. I wish there was a way to 'filter' announcements like that on FB! (Wishful thinking, I know).

Sorry you had to deal with that. :(

  4. Ugh, I'm sorry. I have been "lapped" so many times at this point that I've sort of grown numb to it. But I know, it really makes you feel rotten nonetheless. Hang in there.

  6. So sorry! It's just not fair. Personally, I'm thinking of deleting FB, as it's become a constant barrage of pregnancy announcements and I feel angry, depressed, and left behind every time I log on.

  7. My ex and I split up in 2007, he got married in 2008 and I've been dating my husband since about 2 months after my split with my ex.

He an his wife had their first baby in April of this year and when they announced their pregnancy last year, I actually got so depressed that I shut people out for two weeks.

It's so weird how finding out things like that can really bring you down.

    Love to you <3.

  8. Hiya. :) I just found your blog (as I've started my own and am looking for others to follow)...but I totally feel you on this one. I keep thinking back to one of my ex's who - well we weren't ever truly a "couple" as the boy was terrified of commitment, but we were good friends, and "FWB"...and lived together for a year. Well we went our separate ways and right after my husband and I were married, he contacted me...I found out he had moved out of state and had just had his first baby. I am happy for him but it still sucks when we've been trying for 2 years (we are dealing with MFI). I am happy for him but just knowing stuff like that is such a hard reminder that we can't get pregnant. :(
But it WILL happen one day.
